The virtual CTS congresses of 2021

The answer is Ian Hoban! Well, virtually.

Ian is the commercial lead for the Clinical Trial Solutions business unit of new generation healthcare and pharma services company – Aposave. Ian has close to 30 years of commercial experience working in the pharma and pharma services industries.

Silverstone, the famous formula 1 racetrack nestled in the Northamptonshire countryside, is close to where Ian has his home office, and since the global pandemic started in March 2020, the virtual headquarters for Aposave CTS.

Madrid is where the last ‘normal’ CTS event took place in March 2020 before the world was closed down and life went virtual.

And so, roll on 12 months, and CTS Europe was the first major clinical trials congress of 2021.

Aposave’s virtual presentations

If life had been normal, the next CTS event would have been San Antonio in Texas for the GCSG congress. But no, the Aposave BD activities for this event were led once again from Ian’s home office.

The trio of CTS events would normally conclude in Burlingame, California for CTS West Coast, but due to COVID-19 this event became a 1-day virtual event called CTS USA.

Throughout these congresses, the message from Ian and his colleagues has been consistent and centred around the Aposave Annual Survey of Clinical Trial Professionals. Among many interesting findings one new foe became very evident – the COVID timebomb!

Ian presented at CTS Europe, he and colleague Philip Ashton ran a Showcase at the GCSG Congress and at CTS USA, Ian presented once again.
